LibraryCon Activities
Join the St. Petersburg Library System on Saturday, May 2nd for our inaugural LibraryCon event! LibraryCon is a program for library patrons of all ages highlighting comic books, graphic novels, manga, zines, and nerd culture of all types. Patrons will be able to visit the different areas to do crafts and activities, check out titles, and learn more about comic books/graphic novels. We will be joined by guest speakers discussing topics relevant to comic books and popular culture.

Dive into the world of manga by making your own soot sprite and complete our Pokémon scavenger hunt throughout the library.

Tell your story with your very own zine and try your hand at print making with our custom LibraryCon stamps.

Train to be a Jedi at our Star Wars themed area and interact with members of the 501st Legion.

Meet pro-wrestler The Cheese to create your own superhero (or villain) persona complete with a mask and emblem.

Learn about Tabletop Role Player Gaming with the Pathfinder Society.

Talk all things graphic novels and pop culture with the Comic Book Clique.

Make your way into the Obama Room throughout the event for special graphic novel themed talks. *Please see the calendar for the topics and times.
Registration is encouraged, but not required.
